Focused on the preservation of the environment and cultural heritage to boost social development.

The Arruda Botelho Institute (IAB)

Committed deeply to both the environment and culture, the Arruda Botelho Institute is a non-governmental, non-for-profit organization headquartered in Sao Paulo and spanning across the nation.

The mission of the Arruda Botelho Institute is to contribute toward both the preservation of the environment as well as our cultural heritage, in both its historical and artistic aspects. Since its founding, the IAB has been quantitatively and qualitatively expanding its focus on projects oriented toward the general public's interest. These endeavors have greatly benefited the social development of various communities.

Currently, the Institute is working on four projects in different Brazilian locations:

The Conservationist Breeding Ground Project on São José Farm – Itirapina/state of São Paulo

The Seabass Project – Paraty/state of Rio de Janeiro

The Manor House of Bento Carlos Project – São Carlos/state of São Paulo

The Demoiselle Project – Itirapina/state of São Paulo

The above projects can be modeled and implemented in other Brazilian municipalities and regions. For that very purpose, the Arruda Botelho Institute can pass on technical know-how to institutions and other interested sponsors.
